PEACE LITERACY RESOURCES
Watch for the release date of our 2018 Peace Literacy Word Calendar, a 12-month calendar that features a peace literacy word each month.
2017 Peace Literacy Word Calendar
Peace literacy is a language for the art of living. The 2017 Peace Literacy Word Calendar focuses on words that can lead us to wage peace through everyday actions. One month, one word. How many times can you wage peace with this word?
- One letter can change "word" to "world"
- One action can change our individual world, rippling into the outer world
- What word can change your world today?
Paul K. Chappell is the Peace Leadership Director for the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. A graduate of West Point and a veteran of the war in Iraq, he has developed the theme of Peace Literacy in his seven-book series The Road to Peace, where he writes about waging peace, ending war, the art of living, and what it means to be human.
